Redemption booked into wrong class?
Hi FTers,
Before I get in touch the Diamond Club call centre, I wanted to gather some feedback from fellow FTers as to what to do in the following problem: I booked a miles + cash ticket for JNB-BKK, with outbound on SQ via SIN and the return sector on TG. The agent confirmed that both economy and business class was available so I proceeded to book in business class. If I check my booking on SQ's website and TG's website, the itinerary is listed as Business Class on all sectors. However, the itinerary I received from BD lists the JNB-SIN sector in X class (whereas the SIN-BKK and BKK-JNB are in I class). Yesterday I emailed SQ to request seat allocation and they informed me that they could not pre-allocate seats until 48 hours before departure for the ECONOMY sector between JNB-SIN(!), but that a seat has now been allocated for SIN-BKK in business (which TG have also confirmed). So, in short, BD told me Business Class was available on all sectors, this even looks to be the case according to SQ and TG websites, but for some reason I am in X/Eco for the longest sector. Who is best to contact within BD to resolve this, and what approach would be recommended? Thanks!:confused: |
Phone up Pre Travel Support, number in the sticky, and ask them to a) check the booking and b) retrieve the tape of your call if it's wrong and ask them to fix it.
