DC redemption, use status from other FFP?

Hi All,

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed before - I can't find it!

My primary FFP is TK, where I have *G status. However, I have an old DC account with a few thousand miles that I'd like to use on a BD short-haul (there's good X availability, but only expensive full-fare economy left for revenue bookings).

I'm relocating for a few months, so need my *G baggage allowance - will I get that even though my (no status) DC number will be associated with the booking? I know I won't earn any miles, and can live without lounge access or seatblock, but the extra baggage is essential.

Thanks in advance...

That shouldn't be a problem. Additionally, you should be able to log into the LOT booking management site after making the redemption, where you can change your FFP number to your TK number.

If all else fails, showing your *G card at check-in should be sufficient.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

And you will get lounge access.

...
Yes it has been discussed... but not in your particular case.

Just book your ticket as per normal.

Call the airline concerned and just tell them to put your TK *G number on file, or just show your card at check in to receive the *G benefits.
