Does this SQ fare code earn miles?

I am about to buy an SQ business ticket from MAN to AKL via the website Vayama. They give the fare basis as DITX016. I've spoken to Singapore Airlines and the agency, neither of whom can confirm if I will earn miles.

Does anyone here know?

Thanks

If its business class. Then yes it would. 1.5x miles.

The letter on the front which in this is "D" - is usually the booking code. And that on the BD site indicates that you will earn miles.

There are currently no fares in any paid business class on SQ that do not earn you miles. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Don't call SQ - you get the idiots at the Indian Call Centre. They cannot confirm anything that isn't in their notebooks.. as you asked them about earning miles on a frequent flyer other than Krisflyer. Next time ask if it earn you miles on Krisflyer. And if the answer is yes, then you can take it to be the same for BD.

It would be worth double checking. ITX implies that it is an Inclusive Tour (Is this a flight and hotel package you are booking) these can be highly discounted fares and not sure how these are dealt with

It won't make a difference. Unless the booking class is different, OP will earn miles. It doesn't normally happen with business class tickets, but on economy class tickets, the booking class is usually different to what the fare basis is and when its a tour fare, then mileage will be restricted.

I am quite certain that the fare above , in business class, will earn miles.

Try looking up the fare on one of the other booking sites that shows the booking class. Maybe Vayama is cheaper but if its a publicly available fare there will be a similar fare that's not a huge amount more.
