LH Availability issue
 
Hi, guys,

I redeemed LH award using BD miles few days ago and had some difficulties with my intra Europe leg. Both ANA and LH website showed at lest 4 seats available, but BD agent told me she could not see anything, not just business class, also Economy class. I then tried to route via DUS or VIE, same thing,not a single flight available in any class from FRA-DUS or VIE on LH with BD miles despite ANA and LH showed many seats.

Anyone knows what to do? This is my first time having this issue.

Keep phoning until you get an agent who sees what you see.

not working, I have phoned at least 6 times!

In my past 20+ BD miles on LH flights, this is first time happened!

This has been reported frequently in the last 6 months - availability will become visible within a few days.

it's actually one week since I booked, still no dice, but I will keep checking

Bizarrely I had noticed this for the last couple of months. However last week I booked a first redemption on Swiss when ana was showing no availability.
Definitely worth calling Diamond Club instead - this was about 2 weeks out

LH has implemented the married segment logic for award availability, so if you see XXX-YYY and YYY-ZZZ available in ANA, the bmi DC agent typing XXX-ZZZ in his/her terminal will not see the same.

Maybe you could post the route and date you are looking for and we can try to help?

It can not be in this case because I always tell agent segment by segment, I don't even tell them next segment until they tell first segment is confirmed.

the flight is FRA-PRG, not just business, any seats in any class is not available and FRA-DUS/VIE same thing, but if search next day(overnight in FRA), everything shows up.
