Got an email this morning:

Well at least they are trying to do a co-ordinated push for this 'sale', with it being featured on the site, on a last day email, via Twitter and Facebook. They even had the decency to load the fares for this sale.

That said, despite being able to save 20 per person on the cost of flying on BA down to London in June for a weekend, it still wasn't enough to tempt me back due to BD Gold service enhancements earlier this year.

Sale or no sale, 20 isn't enough to make up for being stuck at the rear of the plane without the Gold seat block in place, with no free drink and inferior lounges. (To name but a few reasons....I could go on)

Anyway, nice idea and I hope they shift some seats as a result of this promo. Lets hope they actually do an offer beyond the domestics and a couple of regional short haul flights.

Yes, but did you have "a fantastic sun filled weekend... wherever you was!" ?

and were you able to use your "ash week discount code offer, managed to wrestle 200 from the powers that be" ?
