Question FM domestic flight redemptions - F & Y only?

Does anyone know if DC treats Shanghai Airlines domestic product in the same was as USA domestic flights, which only get marketed as First and Economy?

I'm (still) looking for a redemption in business from PEK-SHA(or)PVG-Europe but I can only find one flight a day with availability (with unhelpful timings) and that is on CA. There does seem to be lots of availability on FM throughout the day, but only in F and Y.

Does F on FM domestic really mean C, and is there any chance the call centre will let me book one of them?

If this is hopeless, I may just try to get the train instead.

Same as US domestics - F and Y for FM. Air China have Y, J and F on some of their planes and Y & F on others.

Since the change in enforcement of redemptions to the highest class of travel, it does mean that F is charged as F on these flights.

Or, you can just sweat it out in the back of the bus. The difference isn't so great, assuming you can snag a decent sea.
