Best western emailed a $25 travel card
 

Anyone else get one the past couple of days? Good thru the end of the year. They also emailed out buy $100 gift card get $20 bonus card.
I did low rate guarantee for the carpinteria best western at the end of June for $114. So thanks to the free card that’s $89, buy the gift card and using the bonus down to $69+ taxes. The $100 card will have about $20 left and then another $100 card for beating the rate :-)

All I got was the offer to get a free bonus $20 card by buying a $100 GC.

There is a promo for a $25 gift card after staying and submitting a gas receipt before Aug 31, 2020

Was about to post this. So anybody with an upcoming stay this is an easy $25 card.

I’ll buy a $100 card to get an extra $20 card for my upcoming low rate guarantee stay.

Use the $25 card I was emailed and referred to in original post, use the $20 bonus from the $100 gift card purchase, and use $83 from the $100 gift card to cover the rest of the balance on my stay. I’ll have $17 left on the card I bought, get a $100 card sent to me via low rate guarantee and then send gas receipt for this
$25 gift card. So 1 night stay in Carpinteria, CA for $100 gets me $142 in gift cards.

Yesterday, I got the email for the $25 gift card. However, it does not have a "GIFT CARD #" shown in the email. That area is blank.
What to do?

Ok now it’s just getting silly.... got this today, register and get a $25 gift card after your first stay. So
I was sent $25 just for the sake of it.
buy $100, get $20.
get $25 after a stay with a gas receipt
get $25 after a stay
get $100 after stay for low rate guarantee.

so spent $100, got $120 in gift cards. Will use the $25 and the $20 and part of the $100 to pay for Thursday’s stay. Will have $17 remaining, then receive $150 in gift cards.
Spending $100 gets me a one night stay in Carpinteria and $167 in gift cards.

I got this a while back, too, so I emailed CS to figure out what it's about. Well, it finally got back to me, but sidestepped my question and basically told me that I haven't qualified for any $25 GC yet. I am assuming it was sent out by mistake or it was formatted incorrectly. In essence, no "free" $25 GC before any activity. I need to earn them.

Does anyone have any data points on how long it takes to receive the voucher? It has now been two weeks since I had my first stay after registering for the promotion, and I have yet to receive my $25 voucher. I also submitted an email two weeks ago for the tanks-a-lot promotion, including my gas receipt, and I have not received a voucher for that either.

I had a stay on Jul.7 - so now 17 days ago, nothing either for the $25 voucher

Tanks-a-lot replied quick, approval was within a day, but that was 15 days ago, and nothing since.

Thank you for the reply. I did finally get the tanks a-lot email like yours a couple days ago, but still no original gift card. Going on about 3 weeks now.

It's been 4 weeks since I first stayed at a BW hotel. I've made 2 stays since.

I registered and fulfilled the $25 after my first stay (as shown in my BW profile page), submitted my gas receipt and received the tanks-a-lot email saying I was successful.

Nothing has come yet.

I registered for the $25 gift card and spent July 6 in a qualified hotel. I've called twice and no email gift certificate. I called on July 13 and the rep said it could take 7-14 days after the stay to get the email. I called again today and the rep said I was emailed the gift certificate on July 8. I've gotten several emails from BW promoting the $25 promo but I went through all my files including my junk and there's no email gift certificate. Rep said she's re-sending the email certificate and it will take up to 10 business days to get the email. Honestly, sounds kind of like it's a bogus promo. I asked how in the world would it take that long to re-send an email and she replied it has to go through the marketing department to send it.

I also was told it was emailed to me on XX date. Checked my Spam folder, Trash, everywhere... no email!

Three weeks since I posted and still no email. In my opinion it's a bogus promotion or they are just very behind the times technically. I don't love Best Western so unless they are significantly cheaper than IHG or Marriott brands, I won't stay there anymore.
