Buy a $100 BW gift card, get a $20 bonus card for free

Offer is good through December 2, 2019

Bonus cards expire March 31, 2020

So, don't do this unless you have BW stays before March 31

I am contemplating taking advantage of this offer as I have a BW stay coming up around Christmas. Having read about challenges of applying bonus cards in the past, I am wondering if anyone has experience applying more than one gift card or bonus card to a given stay (if paying at the hotel)? Thanks!

I have applied multiple travel cards / gift cards both from promotions and best rate guarantees without any problem.

Thanks for sharing your experience, thunderdeacon.I ordered two $100 gift cards, and the bonus cards appeared in my email box within minutes.

FWIW...BW gift cards cannot be combined either (confirmed by email). This is still a good deal, I have several stays planned before March 31, and will combine it with their "earn $60 in gift cards following 3 stays"

This may be a new policy, or perhaps it isn't followed by hotels. I have used multiple gift cars for one stay many times. I have even used 3 or 4 gift cards on the same stay in the past.

Sorry, my last post was poorly worded...what i meant to say is that multiple GCs cannot be transferred/combined onto one GC.

You are correct that we can use multiple GCs for a stay.

This offer has been extended once again. Gift Certificates may be ordered until June 30. The base GCs for the amount paid do not expire, but the $20 bonus GCs expire on June 30.

Is it possible to stack multiple offers using giftcards?

For example, if I stay 2 nights using this offer,

https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/of...ardsrush1.html

Will I be able to redeem my $20 bonus card (from $100 gift card purchase) toward the stay and still get 2 $25 gift cards? or even triple stack with AmEx's spend $100 and get $20 back from BW stays?

Vincewy, YES. If your stay costs >= $220 including taxes & incidentals (stuff charged to the room folio,) you can use the $100 +$20 GCs and charge the rest ( >= $100) to your Amex card. So a 2-night stay with a bill of $221 would cost you $181 real money AND earn you $50 in GCs for next time! Because paying with GCs counts as a revenue stay (paying real money.) And the $20 rebate is between you & Amex. I bet it would never register at BWR.

How soon can you get the gift card and the bonus gift card if opted for email? Website says 1-3 business days...TIA
To answer my own question -- I just ordered the gift card and received the gift card in the email right away.

I've calculated, based on a $150 stay, by using the cards (both $100 and $20 bonus), factoring opportunity cost of earning points paying with BW MasterCard Premier directly at BW properties, the net saving is around $10 (up to $13 using E Gift card, greater risk for me). Not exactly sure if it's worth the headache, hassle and risk.

This would only make sense if your stay costs more than $400 and you're buying multiple $100 gift cards, but given the problems people have run into (bought 2 but only got 1 $20 bonus card), I'll simply give this a pass.
