How long after check out points should post?

It typically takes a few days (less than a week) for them to start posting. The base points may post first, status points and/or membership type points second, and bonus points third. Bonus points may take longer than a week in some cases.

Yes, the 250 miles (with most airlines) take longer to post, because they don't post until they're sent to the airline, which happens on a periodic schedule, so it sometimes takes less time and sometimes takes more time, depending on when your stay was relative to that schedule. (The schedule may different from one airline to the next, so that's why I can't be more specific. A typical schedule could be once a month or twice a month or whatever)

I have the same issue with Lufthansa Miles & More. The posting of miles is a bit hit or miss, in my experience. Still waiting for a stay in Aberdeen from well over a week ago.
