I think his reply just got the old thread title "Canadian Offer: 50,000 pts (20K approval, 30K for 1k spend) for MBNA BW Mastercard" and there is no new offer as of 2015

My 5c....
As I mentioned 1-page back, I wouldn't aggressively churn the MBNA BWR card for the small 20K + $25 GCR, unless it would help me get my BWR account to a next-plateau. 20K alone is worth a 1-nite stay, with max value of $150 including the $25 rebate, and that's on the optimistic side. I would like to see a minimum $200 value for most of my new card signups, with $300-$500 being an even better range.
However, if they come out with the 50K or 60K offers again, I'd go for that in a heartbeat. It hasn't been promo'd at this higher level since Nov 2013. There's no 'usual' promo date range.
But, that's just me.
