Is Avis charging for No shows?
 
I had a no show at LAX

I was billed $229 for it

is this new?

i never input a credit card number although I guess by logging in when i made the reservation.

Now I've had no shows before using my corp acct (yes my legit corp account) and they have never charged me

Edited to add:

I am looking at the online receipt

it shows me picking up a premium car (with a car number) at 9:45 p.m. and driving 143 miles and returning at noon four days later

I had a no show in TUS last month. when I was adding FF numbers to old folios I noticed this one listed $40 minimum charge, but i couldn't actuallt find that charge on my credit card statement.

I went thru the process and no where is it stated of any no show penalties

Sounds like they gave the car to someone else, but forgot to change the computer info on it. I'd call them.

I called AX to dispute the charges then I called Avis to do the same thing. that was my guess too, they never changed the information.

lets see if the FF miles posted LOL

edited to add> they DID post the miles LOL (it was a family members account that I had put on the rez and I just checked and its there)

this is too bizarre
