Are you getting email confirmations?
I've always received email confirmation on my rentals booked online (my profile has my email addy listed). However, my 2 most recent ones didn't come through. On the first, my flight in CLE was canceled so I booked a car & caught the bus to the rental center. I figured since the reservation was for 3 mins from when I booked it, that could have been the reason.
However, early today I booked a 1-way car, but didn't get an email again. I've checked out my spam filter & it's not there either. The reservation is listed in my online profile, but I just like the security of have an email saved with the correct figures. Are any of you experiencing the same thing? |
Am I supposed to get an email confirmation from Avis automatically whenever I make a reservation? I ask that because I've never gotten one that I can recall! But I always get email receipts upon returning the rental, so they obviously have the correct email address associated with my account, and email from Avis gets through to me in that case reliably.
Is there some setting somewhere for whether you want an email confirmation of a rental reservation? (I see stuff like "add ot Outlook calender" -- but I don't use Outlook! -- yet I don't see anything about "email this reservaiton".) |
