Five day rental in LAS
 

Im going to LAS aug 1-5 mon - fri. and i cant seem to find a decent rate. i was under the impression that this is a low season because its so hot. i got such a great deal on my airfare and hotel, and want to add a car. the cheapest i can find with one of the codes is 161.00 code B935221. any help or coupons would be greatly appreciated

hot weather is not slow season in vegas nor is it an excuse to have fewer visitors. Summer time brings a lot of families especially on weekdays because of the cheaper hotel rates. Rental cars are always pretty expensive there as there are convention go-ers and families wanting to go to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, etc. Try off-airport rental facilities for a possible better rate.

Do you have to rent with Avis? I found a rate of $115 with Alamo Mon AM to Fri PM; if you need a PM to PM rental (meaning 4 days) it's $96. This is for a mid-size, before taxes and fees. (The 5 day rental is $160 once you throw all the taxes in). And there's usually Alamo discount codes available through many of the airline partners, but I think Aug is too far away to look for them.

i just thought i could get a dirt cheap reservation during this time. i just thought because my airline ticket and hotel was SO cheap that rental cars would follow. i paid 305.00 rt mke - las and four nites at the stratosphere. i got a deal from avis when i was there for memorial day weekend for 10 bucks a day. thinking memorial weekend would be busier and more expensive. avis would be nice, but any company will do.
