Duplicate rentals
 

Is there any risk of auto cancellation if I book 2 rentals from 2 different AVIS locations with 1 hour gap between pickup times? I intend to pick up from one off course.

There shouldn't be, but there really isn't any reason to do that. Avis' policy is typically to hold reservations for up to 24 hours from the scheduled pickup time. Just reserve for the later time. If you show up an hour or so early, they aren't going to make you wait for your reservation time to get the vehicle. Don't overthink it.
