For Avis in US, does CARP=AARP?
 

CARP is the Canadian analogue to AARP, though I don't know if they have the same level of integration of (say) CAA and AAA.

A friend in Canada is flying to Orlando (MCO) in a couple of weeks and the AARP are way cheaper than anything else I've found, including CAA rates with Enterprise and Alamo. They are CAA members but would be happy to join CARP (C$20/yr) or AARP (U$16/yr) to get those rates. CARP preferred due to other Canadian partners, but for U$16 AARP would be acceptable.

Would Avis accept a CARP membership as eligible for AARP rates, or do they need to join AARP?
