Huge discrepancy between avis.com and expedia
 

I need to rent a cat in IND to drop off in ORD. When I check the prices on avis.com (I'm preferred) they quote me $400, whereas on expedia I can get it for $100. Any idea what's wrong with them?

Longhair, shorthair, or persian? I've had some good deals on the russian blue, depending on the season.

Are you sure expedia is quoting you one-way, not round trip? Are you able to actually book it on expedia? I suspect that is the difference.

Check that Expedia is quoting the one way drop off fee, if there is one. There might be some messaging that says it’s not included & will be calculated later. Otherwise you might get caught out at the rental desk with an additional unexpected fee.

Also check it’s like for like ie unlimited miles, taxes etc.

But yes booking thru an OTA or company such as Autoeurope is very often much less expensive than direct.

Expedia's lowest may not be Avis. Other than that, I'm surprised every poster acts so surprised...As to OP: Avis.com would only be lower with corp code
