Minimum Rental Length
I'm trying to find a rental car for my trip to Kauai in December. There is wide open availability on all the days leading up to my arrival, then starting 12/15 everything is suddenly "sold out". Did some further digging, they aren't sold out, but they have imposed a minimum rental length of 1 month during this period. If I select 12/15 - 1/12, all categories are available. The thing is I'm not on the island for a month, I am only there for a week. Any ideas on how to bypass this "minimum rental length" and secure a car rental?

Play around with the dates. Only a 10 day rental is needed at Avis Lihue from Dec 12-22.
