Is it normal to rent a damaged car?!
MEX. I rented a car for a few days. They wanted me to wait over an hour for the category I booked. I mentioned I’m preferred plus and they gave me something they had. Some kind of Kia. It was involved in a collision the day or so before. Also the gas half empty (which is fine) is of had to pay an upgrade fee to get another car. It’s not the end of the world, but this is a huge multinational corporation not some budget local Mexican operation. It was at least cleaned... I guarantee the previous renter is paying for loss of use right now as I’m driving it.
