Avis Presidents Club UK valid in USA?
 
I just had to phone Avis to book a few rentals because their site is buggy. While on the phone the man mentioned to me that my Avis Presidents Club in the UK means nothing for when I go to the USA.

Is that how it works?

no. your status is your status regardless of your location.

I have President Club status in Ireland and it works in the US automatically.
