Ticket charge refunded?
 

I had two tickets for a red light camera and they said I can either pay it or they will charge the card when I rented. I decided to just let them charge the card. They did but a few days left refunded me the charges. Is this normal or something?

Anybody knows? I know that national will just do it automatically which is what I prefer tbh

Who is "they"? Your post references are unclear and that makes it hard to answer.

They as in Avis... Who else?

"They" could have been the agency issuing the ticket or some random third party.

If Avis told you this, just leave it alone. You may see one of the charges reappear at some point if Avis audits the contract, which it sometimes does. Or you may not.

At worst, you will be on the hook for what you owe.
