Adding driver, while under AMEX awd?
 
I'm reserving twice using Amex awd, hoping to score free certificate! (btw, anyone heard of, or redeemed this Amex Platinum offer?)

But I also would like (during pick-up) to add a driver free - any chance? I'm Preferred, if that matters at all

Unless the contract says you can add an authorized driver for free you are out of luck. Some states and loyalty programs I think make it at most spouses for free but thats it.
