Removing my Avis coverage profile
I prefer to purchase ALI on personal longer / winter bookings only. Corporate bookings (very occasional for me) are covered by my employer's policy.
Is it possible to remove any ALI preference from the profile on the website/app and opt in/out on a per-booking basis? Currently, I change my profile every single time I make a booking, which is frustrating. I know I can usually opt-in at the counter, but I was wondering if there's an easier way. |
Have you tried adding the option on the booking when you initially make the reservation?

Those options are greyed out and pre-selected based on my profile during the booking process.

You can also check Avis' mobile app as well as avis.ca. Sometimes one or both of those behaves a bit differently than Avis.com. |
