Holden Monaro availability
 

As I was searching for rental cars in New Zealand I came across a "Special".
It is the Monaro (New GTO for the yanks) and available at a reasonable rate for a day or so. What could be more fun than a run from Christchurch to Queenstown in one of these monsters?

Strangely, it is not available in Aus.

Can't wait to get my grubs on one of these when they get to the states. Auto Week here has been praising the daylights out of them. GM will probably find a way to screw them up, though. Say, was that a Monaro that the detective drove in the movie Lantana?
