Alert: You have to be logged in at avis.com to be able to specify an Frequent Traveler program. That field (which is now on the Rental Options page) disappears if you try to book without being logged in. (And, obviously, to be able earn an airline or hotel bonus, you have to be able to specify your airline or hotel program!)

The Club Carlson double points promo originally mentioned near the end of the 2015 thread has been added to the wiki, with a link. It's the first promo good for the whole year, and while it's not as "rich" as the 9000 promo, it only requires 1 day, whereas the 9000 promo required 3 days.
I put in red all the promos which currently have a working link still saying 12/31/2015.

Club Carlson codes MUHA021 AND MUHA002 are both being rejected as expired on 12/31/15.
These were very lucrative in keeping my seldom used CC account building for the occasional award stay-keeping fingers crossed they return

Avis is cleaning up so slowly. The Hilton 2015 promo link finally died, but all* the other seemingly-expired websites are still alive 9 days now past expiration.
Unfortunately, until they clean out expired promos, they won't have anywhere to put new promos. (For example, there's an www.avisworld.com/hilton site which is also still only showing 2015 promos
!)

* Ok, so now another one, the Club Carlson 9000, is showing an error page, so can be deemed officially expired.

Southwest has been extended to 6/30/16.
I corrected the last AA entry. It is not a bonus, it is the normal earnings chart (on top of which any bonus are earned). It needs a link simply because it's so complicated (being based on status or credit card).

Alaska (850, 3+) finally went from limbo (12/31/2015) to being extended to 3/31/2016.
Both Starwood promo pages finally died. (I left up Starwood's own page which for now only lists normal earnings but has listed promos in the past.)
That leaves IHG as the only remaining limbo page left.

In South Africa, in the US, and who knows how many other places, the earning instead is something much less, but on the other hand there's a 500 Avios points minimum, which I don't see mentioned at all on the Avios UK site you linked. Double Avios points for members outside the UK would therefore mean 1000 Avios points minimum, and that would be undoubtedly explained quite differently than simple "double Avios points".

New AA promo added (on two lines) in the wiki. It's a bit complicated: It's either 1500 bonus miles on Signature series (group X) car type on rentals of 2 days or more, or 1000 bonus miles on any other car type on rentals of 3 days or more. And it's only valid on rentals that start 2/15 through 3/31 (even though it was announced in late January).

The earning rate for UK is the same: minimum of 500 Avios for 1-2 days rentals, and 700 for 3+ days.
According to the promo T&C's: "6. Qualifying rentals will receive 6 Avios points per Ł1 spent on Avis car rental instead of the usual 3 Avios per Ł1 spent, minimum 1,000 Avios per rental instead of the usual minimum 500 Avios per rental."

The AA 500 bonus miles promos have been extended until May 31.
I found the link for that promo and added this to the wiki, but please note that there is another offer for 2x WyndhamRewards points on 1+ days. Not only is that a better for 1 and 2 day rentals, if you do the math, you'll find it's also a better offer for 6+ day rentals.
WyndhamRewards has a flat 15000 point redemption for one night.
But keep in mind that normal Avis earnings for WyndhamRewards is 100 points per day, so since this 500 points is for a 3 day minimum, you'll earn at least 800 points total.
By comparison, WyndhamRewards gives a 1000 points minimum on any qualifying hotel stay, even for just one night at a $35/night property.

does Avis need geography lessons? (rejects U.S./etc coupon in Alaska)
I'm trying to make a reservation at ANC (Anchorage, Alaska airport) for late summer, with the only promo that's valid till then, the Club Carlson double points with coupon MAHA0053. But Avis tells me the coupon is not accepted, gives me a "Why" link, which brings up a pop that says:
Oh, and it also gives the same error if I try Fairbanks as a test, but doesn't give any error with exactly the same dates for AMS (Amsterdam airport, Netherlands). So it's obviously not a problem with the coupon validity overall.
