Tip for you all. Don't rent here. Lines are up to 2 a 3 hours for picking up cars. The mustang cars are 2 years old and service is bad. This budget location is not friendly. This rental property will cost you 1/2 day holiday

Doesn't Budget have more than one location in Honolulu? Which one are you talking about? And how many times did you experience a long wait at your particular location? Once? Five times? Do you have enough data points from which to conclude that this is a recurring issue at this particular location?

It was Honolulu airport. Not only the waiting lines but also service when my car was broken after 2 miles. Its just my experience but maybe things are better now. But I am done with them. Had to wait in a downtown area for 3 hours to get another car. So 5 hours at one day is enough for me.

Wow, I have never experienced this. I can't speak to the Mustang issue but I have rented there about every other month for the past two years and need to go inside the office about half the time (I use FastBreak the other half). There has never been more than 2, maybe 3 people ahead of me. The staff have always been great, to the point where I have even tipped them for exceptional service. I can't help but think this was a one-off and maybe there was an underlying problem that caused such a long wait. Maybe computer issues?

I've read the Yelp reviews and can't believe the poor service! Any car places that are recommended for HNL?
