Reward flight with fare code X - economy basic, light, or classic?
 

I have booked reward flights on Avianca BOG-SCL through Aegean Miles+Bonus. I booked economy and I can only access my reservation through Aegean MMB and not Avianca.

On Aegean MMB, and on the email confirmation, it does not show the baggage allowance or the economy fare type (Basic/Light/Classic/Flex). It only shows the booking class which is X.

I have searched everywhere and cannot find what the fare type is for booking class X. We will have checked bags, so really hoping that it is economy classic.

Does anyone know?

Normally award tickets include checked luggage, but no first hand experience when booked on AV flights. I very much doubt it is Basic.

Btw you need the Amadeus PNR number to look up the reservation with AV. You can't use the internal A3 PNR to anything with AV.

How would I find the Amadeus PNR? I have the A3 booking reference and e-ticket number.

Call A3 they will give you the PNR. I'll be in the same situation soon with the exact scenario.
Luggage included?

As mentioned i'm in the same situation. I called A3 because i booked through miles + bonus. They couldn't give me an other filekey than they initially have.
So no check of the booking through Avianca possible. My other question was if there is luggage in included with booking class x, which was affirmed.
