Booking class for S Fares

Booking class for S Fares
Does choosing the S fare changes the booking class if for example the booking class on europe flight is S for both the M and L fare?
And *G privileges like extra luggage are still given on S fares (only excluded on the XS fare?), right?

My data points are from domestic flights with AV in Colombia: Changing from XS to S fare doesn't change the underlaying booking class.
As Star Alliance Gold (in my situation TK Elite) I always received 1 free checked bag even when on XS fares; I assume that it is the same for international flights.
