I have no Star alliance Status and asking because luggage policy..

It books into regular x award space so you typically get one bag but it depends on the route. Check the UA website for info.

I'm looking at booking PBI-ORD on United metal with LifeMiles. When you say you get one bag, do you mean each passenger gets 1 checked bag?

Yes, 1 checked bag/passenger. Assuming 20 or 23 kilo.

Award tickets always come with normal checked luggage allowance.

Si and if you have UA Premier status, call AV and have your UA MP number added to the res. I have been UG from Centroamerica to gringoland multiple times in this way on LM X awards.
