The new LifeMiles iPhone App has arrived and .... difficult to say.It "can't find the hostname" or "there's a software error" or "the data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format" - alternative errors when I attempt to log on

There are 4 segments

The exact same I have on the reverse routing

I have put in a 3rd request - which is what I had requested prior to the new website (which got to ticketing but my CC failed and caused the booking to be cancelled)

I would have gone with this itinerary again - however with the new site - the segments weren't showing up in the first few days

Anyway - i'll keep everyone in the loop

It's good that they aren't rejecting screenshots outright but it would be helpful to see what they are doing with our screenshots now. Because I think in the past they were just adding segments in Amadeus; if now they are using some origin/destination UI, then it'll probably reject anything you don't find online.

That would effectively end screenshots?

It doesnít recognize new LH routes.

UA/AC show LH AUS-FRA flights while LifeMiles doesnít. You canít even try the screenshot method.

You have to visit the login fields first before the button works. Really tedious for anyone whose browser remembers and auto-fills them.

I rather thought my membership profile states that my preferred language is English but even logging on now means I have to choose the language all over again every time

Despite sending screenshots at normal size (showing two flights on one search means you can't see what day they are on), my screenshot booking was made in under 48 hours.

New web site screenshots? Well you seem the first successful one.

It was already one of my favourite ways to get from one particular country to another for a few years booking through United. (And had to be phoned in back then, because their search didn't find it either.) It's even better now that the equipment on the route has been significantly upgraded. When I booked this time, for Jan next year, there was one seat available in the week I wanted, a few days later than I would have liked. Given the scarcity of seats, which can occur on any of the 3 legs, I don't think pointing it out to everyone in the world is in my interests, but feel free to ask me privately.

Another problem, at least for some itineraries, is that connecting services are only showing in economy. Example AMS-FRA-SYD - AMS-FRA is available LH J as the connector, but only comes up in economy if booked as part of the longer ticket.

I suppose screenshots would get around that, but hardly worth the effort. Perhaps if it was a longer flight might be worth the trouble.
