That’s good to know. I found a way to get rid of them before they expired and had an unexpected trip to Germany come up. Unfortunately since they seem to block out LH F space, I’m stuck with 27,000 LM now that I hope I get to use for something.

Hi guys, i just purchased 1000 points just to extend my current expiry date of 30 Nov 2019.
However, the current expiry date is still showing.
Anything to worry about ? Or the expiry date will change to a new one a few days later?

Try logging out and back in. The expiration date should have automatically changed.

Lifemiles expiration question: I see now, that when I log into lifemiles my expiration date of December 2019
I bought 1,000 miles, logged out, logged in, its still December 2019 (mileage updated +1000)
I then transferred 1,000 miles from citi, logged out, logged in, its still December 2019 (mileage updated anther +1000 again)
Question: How long does it take to see the updated expiration date on lifemiles.com?
Some say instant, some say 24 hours
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Hi all,
Another data point here. I had miles expiring February 2020. Booked a stay via Lifemiles Hotels/Booking.com and the stay was on 19 October. The miles posted on 7 November but the expiration was not extended till 24 hours later. My miles are now valid till 30 November 2020.

I needed quick activity to keep my points alive, but didn't want to buy very expensive points - wanted to get at least something for buying points. I was able to book cheap hotel on Lifemiles booking site and the points posted the next day. From the Lifemiles hotel booking site, be sure to avoid the hotels that take you into Booking.com to complete the booking where credit takes several weeks. Select from the hotels stay with the lifemiles booking site and look for hotels that have symbol 'Rapid Earnings'.
