F Availability

I recall reading threads a year ago that said First Class on LH has been pulled back from LM especially from the US West Coast to Europe.

I have been checking today for some flights I may be interested in for the following destinations and cant find any availability for late Jan / early Feb.

- SFO to FRA / MUC in First
- UK to DXB or AUH in LH First

Looks like nothing much has changed.

If you can find Partner availability on LH or Swiss on Star Alliance partners such as United can we use screesnhot method and book using LifeMiles.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

No screenshot method. I do see availability JFK-FRA within the 2 week window.

LH F is only available to *A partners within the 2 week window (maximum 2 weeks out from current date).
So, if you search today 1/9, you won't find anything available past 1/23 (2 weeks from now)

Ver funny...We are all seasoned travellers here... we know that Swiss F is not even available for regular Miles and More redemptions.

Looking for LH F or Swiss Biz from SFO, cant find either for late Jan

LH does not release SFO F seats to partners until 1-5 days in advance of the flight and space is tight. Some days there is no F space made available to partners. C is easier to find in advance but still not plentiful from the west coast. I am not familiar with the LX patterns.

Edit: For example, on a search I just ran, tomorrow 1/9 I see LH F from SFO-FRA. I see a LH C seat SFO-MUC on 1/29. LX C avail SFO-ZRH on 1/22, 1/23, 1/30, and others earlier and later.

My experience is that LH is only releasing seats 2 - 3 days before departure. You must have really flexible travel plans to try and grab one of those awards,

Is F, for either LH or Swiss, even possible from MIA?

how long ago was this? Swiss have been very protective of their F cabin for the last 10 years, even cancelling tickets booked when their systems “mistakenly” released F award space to star Alliance members.
