I have about 270k miles that i bought 2 years ago. Been trying to find a good combo J flights from S.E.Asia to EU. However, this is not easy as some of the flights are of "mixed cabins". Cant believe we have to pay J fare to fly long haul in Y and intra-EU in J.

Has anyone got any tips? Feel free to PM me as i need to clear these miles before it expires.

If you have read all those, and you still dont know what to do, then you have more problems than you realize.

But, being the helpful bunch we are, can you share with us
1. Origin and destination you are looking for
2. Travel dates you are looking for
3. How flexible you are with these two (e.g. fly into BRU/DUS instead of FRA, you dont have must-travel dates etc.)
4. If you are seeing business class award availability on UA or Aeroplan websites for the flights you are looking for

For J flights from S.E.Asia to EU, you have several airlines to choose from.
BR/LH/NH/OZ/TG/TK transiting at their respective hubs of TPE/FRA/MUC/TYO/ICN/BKK/IST.
For the long haul segments,
the availability trends are in this order
OZ ->TG ->TK ->NH ->BR ->LH
While, the confort of business class is in this order.
Lie flats BR, NH, TK, TG (A380, 77W)
Angled seats TG (747), LH

can't you just extend those miles? any activity extends the expiry for 24 months
