Seems to still show Gold on the BP. I was going to swap it for TK but there's no point as I am sure it would be accepted by the BP scanners.

I've just received an email that I have indeed been given a soft landing. I was originally dumped from top to bottom but emailed pointing out I'd been told I would drop to Gold.

Does it show that you are Gold in your account now?

I guess I should send them an email like yours. Which email address did you use?

Basically they are saying you did not earn enough points to requalify and they have downgraded you. It also suggests a review of all memberships, which is bad news for a lot of people here.

A sudden surge in people emailing in to challenge why they are not *gold may have triggered a deeper investigation.

It means they don't give a s... (and understandably so).
@danger: How the h... did you get them to reinstate your *G status?

I suspect the reason I was successful is because I received confirmation from them in writing (an email) that I would be soft landed. When I was hard landed I forwarded that email back to them and reminded them what I'd been assured of.
