Error trying to complete purchase
Does anyone keep getting an error window after trying to complete payment for purchase of miles? I'm currently in Asia and have tried with and without VPN in different countries, multiple browsers, different credit cards, and both cell & laptop.

So, how good is this for someone based in Tokyo like me?
As far as I can see, I can only redeem award flights from Japan to other Asians regions and Australia.
Biz class round trip on ANA to Sydney for 80.000 avianca miles looks good using this promotion (around 135.000Y) but how about availability?

That's definitely a question I have for the Lifemiles experts out there. I've read the availability isn't the same, which kinda ruins my enjoyment of running the searches on Expertflyer and building the itinerary I want. Is it simply searching each leg 1 by 1 on the AV tool? But the availability vs other programs is MUCH loweR?

Sorry, you can PM me if it's not really on topic of the thread, but what do you mean? I've been looking into lifemiles and I've seen that their availability isn't the same as others...but are you saying that United and Air Canada aren't bookable?

No, his point is that availability isn't the same as others. So if you buy cheap lifemiles but they can only be used 20% of the time an award seat is available, are they actually "cheap"?

Exactly this. LM may offer the ability to fly LH F Usa-FRA-Asia for 90k miles one way compared to UA's award chart offering the same for 115k, but if you can't book it, where's the saving? A couple months ago UA was showing wide open availability for the above routing, every day from 14 days prior to departure. LM had one day, only to FRA, and had to be booked via a screenshot and a three day wait for them to call to take payment.

I wonder if this has anything to do with you being located outside of North America. Have not been able to use my Amex card online, had to use a Visa or MC in the past. Now this cryptic problem. Tried Amex and Visa and the same exact message.
