I guess Lifemiles trying to make amends for the recent 10% increase in cost of miles plus the devaluation.

Also,not sure if worth it, as one can still "buy" miles through cancelled tickets at 1.5 cents

When trying to buy it, with the promotion, on first page its correctly 135000, but on the next page it still says:

60,000 Purchase miles Service charge: 1,980.00

not 135000 miles as it should...

Has anyone successfully got these promotion miles today?

I ran in to the same problem. It says the maximum I can purchase is 40k with a 50k bonus. (I have purchased before this year and actually thought I had used up the max). But when I go to the payment page the bonus doesn't show.

But then If I lower the amount to 30k the bonus of 37.5k sticks on the payment page.

Is there a requirement for the account to be existing for this promotion?

I just created an LM account but I can't seem to get the promotion.

Am I missing something?

I took the risk and all miles posted fine.

Got the same offer, but my account is still well stocked and with all the recent changes I rather let this cool off a bit hoping LM will get the message that people don't buy, buy, buy any longer. YMMV

Even with their 125% bonus, I couldn't find a need to pad my account with more Lifemiles after seeing how they killed off a lot of the value by messing around massively with the award chart and other things. Even at a bit under 1.5 cents per mile, no longer willing to hoard up.

Anybody here received a 5000 miles bonus after purchase miles on the Cyber Monday promo?

I'm checking my account statement and it shows a bonus, than a reversal of this bonus:

I had this too... odd.

I had that too but with a different number of miles, which actually was 10% of the number of miles bought on Cyber Monday. Like you, though, it's gone now. :(

Can't complain, since I was not even expecting to get any bonus. But it is a really strange situation, and I think that would not hurt LM to give away that "extra" bonus to people who took part at the CM promo.

So today I got an email stating that LM had increased my limit to buy miles to 250k. Yeah ;) I guess the current round isn't going as well as they planned. Wow what a revelation that must be. You tinker with the redemption chart and raise prices and wonder why demand tapers off? Well I'm okay with the 1xx k mls in my account as using them is getting tougher by the day it seems. YMMV
