I was thinking about it and I think you end up paying the same amount per mile through this sharing promo as you would if you just bought them yourself. So it's not really as good as the US promo.

you can already buy 1000miles for $15 with AV, which is a good deal.

am i missing something?

No. The deal is 50k for $750. You already need to have had and paid for the other 50k.

So basically 75 cents a mile. Sounds pretty good to me!

LM has had a few promos this year - buy and get 100% bonus which works out to the same 75 cents (I think). But with this promo, you need to have some in your account to transfer.

Very true Jeff... The USDM sounds better at 1.13 cents.

BTW, nice post http://boardingarea.com/canadiankilo...0-share-promo/

My bad with the math. It's still 1.5 cents to buy a mile.

Not a very productive way to compare what's offered..... the redemption costs are different just as some other aspects like the ability to book SQ C and one-ways.

So I don't want to be one of those "some people", can you share any links or details on these restrictions you had in mind?
