Completely my fault. Due diligence was not carried out. The wiki states 100% on purchase of miles 12/3-12/31. Procrastination got the best of me as the actual promo dates were the 3rd-30th. Shniiiikeeeeees.

frequency of promos
usually how often are the promos, whether they are share or buy miles? last year buy miles was in Apr, Aug and Dec, anyone remembers the frequency for share miles?

no... i asked for SHARE miles.. I remember share miles was in Feb and October, can't remember if there were any others!

Cos that would mean Feb (share), April (buy), Aug (buy), October (share), Dec (buy). Am I missing one in June? Cos if yes, that means actually opportunities to purchase miles every 2 months with pretty good regularity!

oh is the transferred miles promo limit linked to the buy miles promo limit? i realise this is all speculative, just wondering how it was done previously. only ever bought miles, never did the share miles.

I understand the yearly "buy miles" Limit is 150k per account.
Do the promotions count to the yearly Limit ? As USDM promos never counted.
And the same question about the share miles promos ?

Yes the promos count. If you buy 75+75 bonus you are maxed out for the calendar year.

USDM has no concept of an annual limit so that comparison is not relevant.
