Actually that sounds familiar! Using XP to book some complex good'uns sometimes using the right departure time is critical to getting the result you want...

Thanks! I'll "go play"....^

I just talked to an agent on the phone to cancel a 2 biz tickets and receive the refund. She told me I would receive the miles instead of the cash that I spent purchasing the miles. Was I given the correct information?

Only accounts created before Dec 3 (or when the promo started) are eligible, unfortunately. ;(

To try to save about a quarter of a penny per mile? I don't think that I want to have to do that to myself, given that their reps are less flexible and of no greater competence than even bmi Diamond Club reps at the ICC.

Old Distancia TACA program

Taca.
I was enrolled in Taca's old 'Distancia' program.
Would it be still valid now that they have joined
Star?

Both TA and AV's programs merged to create Lifemiles, and your account should have automatically merged, and if you have miles that havent expired, still be there.
