LAX-ICN-PVG luggage question
Both legs are Asiana, but I booked first leg through AC and second through UA because I could not find second leg in AC system( Not sure why). Since both legs are Asiana, Do I get to call them and ask them to combine ticket together for me so that I don't have to worry about checked luggage?

You shouldn't have a problem checking bags through at LAX since all of your flights are OZ. Just have a copy of both itineraries to save them time looking them up.
Not sure about PVG but the LAX people can probably provide guidance on what the actual policy is.

Right now Asiana does not have many flights to PVG. I assume you have a lot of time between the 2 flights? So in the case you need to recheck your bag at ICN, you should have a lot of time to do this. Collecting your bag and rechecking is quick and easy at ICN. Ideally you'll be able to check your bags all the way through.

You can call AP and see if the phone agent can add the second leg to your exsiting booking on AC.Some DP reported the phone agent can see more routes. Of course, change fee applies here, but should not require more miles (as it is still within 7500 miles range). Good luck.
