Connecting at ICN (Asiana to Asiana international) with 2 separate PNRs (award)
Hello! Just hoping for some advice. Using Air New Zealand's pretty rudimentary Star Alliance Booking tool, I am able to find two segments (SIN-ICN, ICN-KIX); but unable to join them together using the online system.
Only way is to do it via the contact centre, with a NZD100 fee.
The connection is 1 hour 45 minutes.
I'm leaning towards just forking out the fee - please let me know if any one of you thinks it's unnecessary. Thanks!

Connection time is no problem at all. 1 hour 45 gives you plenty of time.
HOWEVER
I would not do a 1 hr45min connection on 2 separate bookings. Put it this way, if your incoming flight is delayed by 45mins to an hour, youre potentially up for more than NZD$100 to get to KIX. Id just call in to get it on one booking
