I'm still baffled at the fact that I receive food on short haul Y. It feels like that stopped in the the early-mid 2000s in the US. Out of all my flights between GMP-HND on OZ and NH, I think I've only eaten once. There's not much motivation to eat on the plane when I can eat in a lounge before, or just eat on the ground after.

I did get bumped up to NH J for SFO->HND, and the seat with the door is great, but I'd say the food is nothing to write home about either. I didn't eat any snacks though, since it was a redeye and I passed out.

Which is weird because Korea has perfected the microwavable rice aka Haet Ban. which is usually just as fresh as the regular - sounds like they didn't microwave it long enough lol - and yeah they just cater it all in Seoul because the plane turns around (unless you see Japanese snacks/items on the tray)

Mikesaidyes first post was on Nov of 2022. Guess what has changed since then? Yep, absolutely nothing!

Very sad to see Asiana in this stagnant mode, in every aspect.

Hard to make real changes when you're in the middle of a buyout
