Neither my wife (10/2020) or myself (10/2021) have any extension so far. Not great...

My expiration date hasn't updated either, guess it will take some time before all accounts are done

what does this means if ive been waiting for my current qualification period to end on Jume 30th (I have no status) and do some trips in the next year to get diamond? will they now extend my 2 year window of no status by 6 months and split my travels next year into 2 qualification periods? My understanding is qualification is not rolling right, so i need to wait another 6 month to start travelling in ordder to have status? If i travel during these 6 months it will get counted with the last 24 months not the coming 24 months?

Your qualification period effectively becomes June 30, 2018 -> December (31), 2020 for this current period. Another qualification period will start on January 1, 2021 and endon January 3, 2021. If you are concerned about this messing up your status plans, you could try emailing OZ to opt out of this extension or just create a new Asiana Club account.

I just signed up for the BoA credit card with my current OZ account number, bonus coming in 3 months I was hoping it would be counted witht he next qualification period. It's so hard to get hold of Asiana now and onlien form is not working for me LOL sucks for me that they are extending qualification period! The problems of fixed 24 months periods!

Do they have an email address? I googled around and couldnt find one

Try emailing [email protected]. They're pretty good at responding within a couple of days but YMMV due to the COVID situation. You can also try calling then at +1(213)365-4526 or +1(213)365-4528 but most likely, they'll just get you to email them.

I’ve noticed that my moms account was already extended (her evaluation period was 2018/5/1 to 2020/4/30) was already adjusted for 30 months(new evaluation until 2020/10/31), yet she already requalified for diamond so no worries. Mine hasn’t been adjusted yet and my evaluation period is from 2018/11/01 to 2020/10/31, and I still need around 8,000 miles to requalify for diamond. Same with my dad whose evaluation period is from 2019/12/1 to 2021/11/30. I think they are adjusting it on the ones whose account is already set to expire first, and the rest would follow.

PSA: for those in my shoes who don;t want extension, they can only help you after it's been extended in your account, then they can change it back possibly. Nothing they can do now. I'd say if you are like me with no miles, just open a new account.

Any forseeable issues with multiple accounts?

Hi all,

I contacted Asiana Club about this (as mine hasn't been extended yet).
Their reply: "Due to COVID-19 situation, evaluation period processing may be delayed up to a month before the expiration date."

They may close one or both. You can just close the first one yourself. No miles, no problem.

I'm confused and I'm hoping someone can tell me how this status extension affects me.

According to my Asiana account:

Evaluation base date: 2018.10.03

Evaluation period: 2018.10.03 ~ 2020.10.31
So when did my two year period started? When does it end and a new two year period begins? Will the status extension affect when my new two year period begins?

Since I signed up for OZ, I've credited 63,580 miles to the program. How does this status extension affect the current period and the next two year period?

TIA!

Your evaluation period will now end on April 31, 2021 and a new evaluation period will start from May 1, 2021 to May 1, 2023.

I forgot, what's evaluation period again?

How come I don't see the new date on my account?
