for reference, cheapest to earn qualifying miles* on OZ is about USD $0.05/mile
*note that you may find a super discounted economy fare at $0.025/flown mile but only earning at 50% rate (which makes it $0.05/mile still)
or a semi-cheap premium economy fare at $0.05/mile which earns at 100%
