Is Asiana J worthwhile vs. EVA...??

Hi everyone, I know this will be subjective but I would like to know how's Asiana's J vs. EVA's J (ICN--JFK & TPE--JFK routes respectively)? I flew EVA's J a few months ago RT from JFK to TPE and really liked it. Looking to do another trip to Asia next year but it's been difficult to see any availability for EVA's J on Aeroplan's website and the prospect of settling for Asiana's J (ICN--JFK) is pretty high. Just wanted to know from those that have flown both--are they close in comparison (seats, service, food, comfort, etc.) or night and day? Thanks for all your feedbacks!

I've flown both, albeit different routes (TPE-SFO on BR and ICN-LAX on OZ), and BR is the clear winner. If I'm looking to do Star Alliance J TPAC I would do everything possible to get on BR or NH. In my opinion OZ J is comparable to AC J - not bad at all, but I wouldn't go out of my way to take it. BR J, on the other hand, I will literally go out of my way for.

Agree BR is better, but OZ is not bad. If Aeroplan allows you to change the carrier/routing I would grab OZ seats and check if BR opens up. If you end up with OZ you will enjoy the service, anyway.

OZ J is just the Thompson Vantage seat, right? (Same as NH.) [EDIT: Nevermind, NH actually uses Zodiac Skylounge Core.]

BR J uses typical Cirrus Zodiac.

You're right, the middle seats close together are a giveaway on Stelia Solstys.

Also, I messed up - NH uses Zodiac Skylounge Core, not Thompson Vantage.

Slight tweak the question

So again transpacific flight to the USA.

BR J is on a 77W but this time instead of OZ J is on a new A350.

So the BR J seat is superior to the OZ J seat but the OZ plane is better than the BR plane.

Does that tilt it enough to go to OZ?

Lower cabin altitude, quieter and better humidity level.
That being said, BR J is still superior to OZ J IMHO.
