OZ did it again... Mrs. Zippy was booked on OZ203 in 4/2019, and they changed the aircraft from an A380 to an A350. We were not even informed... no email or other notification. I couldn't find anything on their Web site.

You're lucky...in July, I used UA miles to book LAX-ICN-FUK on an F award (J ICN-FUK). In September, OZ downgauged that flight to a 777, but left the reservation intact. In October, they upgauged back to an A380 - and CANCELLED the reservation, even though they were flying the same metal I had originally booked. UA was unable to get OZ to reconsider (and so UA gave me J space LAX-NRT instead...).

Well this thread will do it. Been wanting to take the mrs. In first to ICN and given the downguage I’m going to pull the trigger on the two F spaces in mid April that shows a380 still from lax to icn.
Thanks for all the informative info here!

UA took very good care of us - they charged us fewer miles for LAX-NRT(UA)-HIJ(NH) than they charged us for the return KIX-ICN-LAX (all in OZ); possibly b/c NRT-HIJ was in Y on a CRJ700...
Also, FYI, J on the A359 was better than J on the A380. The 359 seat felt wider, and certainly had more space within the seat "pod" (I think the pitch was longer on the A359). Also, the bins on the A380 were VERY small (although the A359 did not have center bins in the front J cabin at least...).

Thankfully the A380 stuck for my flight; it was phenomenal! Too bad Asiana has so few of them in their fleet; seems like only the daytime LAX and Frankfurt flights get it regularly
