Are the dates still the same for the swap, i.e. it's from 10/29? I wanted to have my wife redeem some miles in J and the a380 would be better.

To what route is the JFK A380 being deployed? Anyone know?

JFK substitutions this winter are SYD and NRT.

Not exactly — back in May/June or so ICN-FRA was showing 77L for November through Jan/Feb (e.g. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/asian...-schedule.html and http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/asian...more-a380.html; initially FRA was only scheduled for the A380 up to November); JFK and SYD (for Northern winter) were both showing A380.

Then when the schedule changes happened in July the A380 went to FRA and IIRC the SYD upgauge was extended as well.

My wife is flying on 3/25 (so this Sunday) the JFK / ICN route.
How do you guys check the aircraft?
I suppose it's the A380 since it's after 3/24 but I'd like to be sure about it...

If it is OZ201 on 25 March, it is an A380

Gasolin is asking about OZ221 JFK-ICN, not OZ201.

I suppose the easiest way is to do a dummy booking for the dates and see what aircraft is assigned. This isn't foolproof, but I suspect it'd be a more reliable indicator than any other way/website

I'm actually on the inbound 3/25 OZ222 ICN-JFK which is currently scheduled for an A380 so I'm pretty sure the return will be a 380 as well… but to be really sure we'll have to wait until I get to the gate at ICN and see what's there

Have not figured out how to post pics from mobile yet but am writing this while ensconced in the UD of HL7641 (in Y, unfortunately) at ICN waiting for boarding to finish and to push back and depart for JFK. (So unless this craft goes tech it’s what your wife should be on on the return)

Thanks! The wife boarded the dog in cargo (unfortunately) and is now in line for security at JFK. UD business in the front area for her.
