No more award availability?

With the upcoming United devaluation on 2/1, I was planning on booking a biz/first award flight returning from SYD (via ICN) after 12/31/14. I've been monitoring award space and it looks like Asiana stopped releasing awards available to book after 12/23. They used to release them every day up to the point, but now they're nonexistent, even in economy.

Does Asiana usually black out peak times of travel for awards? I'm assuming high demand times are Christmas-New Years.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Ask yourself how many days out an award seat is released then do the math. After finishing the arithmetic you then look into the rules of changing award tickets. This is the Asiana forum. 2/1 is referencing the united award chart changes. Please direct questions to the united forum and read the already very established thread for ideas there.
