Seeking weekend trips from BKK
 

I will arrive at BKK on Friday Nov 13 around noon, and don't leave until Monday Nov 16 very early. I am seeking ideas for a weekend trip if I want to leave BKK. Will be with a friend. We were going to go to Luang Prabang but all flights seem sold out. Am i looking wrong?

Any other easy weekend trips to Laos, Thailand, other nearby flight or car destination come to mind? If not - a weekend of R and R in Bangkok is not too bad...Thx

Luang Prabang would be awesome. Lao Airlines (http://www.laoairlines.com/) flies 4 times a day from BKK.

You could also jump to Phnom Penh, any number of the beautiful southern beaches, Chang Mai, Saigon, etc...

There are no shortage of great places to jump to from BKK for a weekend.

Can't get Lao Air website to sell me aticket. anybody know a travel agent site for them?
