I'm new to this forum and wondered if anyone has visited Boracay Island in the Philippines and do they have any tips. I've heard that there is only a baggage allowance of 10kg! Is this right? How does a girl manage with an allowance like this?

You only need your bikini/s and a couple of shorts and t-shirts. Not much else is required. It is currently hot and if it isn't hot, it is hot and wet. Just be lazy and enjoy a drink or three.

Note that only SE Air is flying to Caticlan now, others are going to Kalibo (and busing from there). Cebu Pacific flights to Kalibo have more baggage allowance, from memory.
