Wine Store in KL?

Can anyone recommend a good wine store in KL?

Thanks

I can recommend one, only wish I could give you more
details. Downstairs in the Twin Towers shopping area
is a supermarket that has a quite excellent and voluminous
wine area. Prices, as for all alcoholic things in KL are a bit
on the high side, but maybe you can put it on the company
account. The store is towards the tunnel to parking. Salut.

I'll have a look for you in the Mid-Valley Megamall or some KLCC malls - to report here if anything stands out.

Today my alcohol is currently courtesy of the LM KL club lounge. :) Salut!

Wine is becoming cheaper and more readily available in KL. There are a lot of specialty shops springing up, but I would recommend to stick to large chains as in my opinion the pricing is better. Also, I worry about turnover and proper storage at the smaller shops. You sould also look out for what is the on sale.

The largest selection in my opinion is in the Carrefour at Midvalley Mega Mall, which has recently opened a large temperature controlled wine room. They have a particularly fine selection of French wine. Surprisingly they even stock Grand Crus! (not that i can afford any). Also in Midvally, take a look in the supermarket in the basement of the Jusco store – the have good promotions.

If you are in KLCC, you can try the supermarket in the top floor of the Isetan department store (just outside the supermarket actually) or the Cold Storage in the basement. The selections at both are not huge, but they have good promotions.

Another vote for Mid Valley for its mega range of shops.
Though the department stores are huge, it's great to know they have a quality range of wines. :)

I agree the sales can be great generally.
If the wines are on sale at times, all the better. ^
I noticed the duty free drinks stores at the KUL terminal, but only fleetingly as we made our way to the MH Golden sat lounge! :)

Last time I passed through, they were selling a nice Burgundy in the KUL airport duty-free , past security.
